Regional Cuisine Of Mexico
Just south of the United States and bordering the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, Mexico is quickly advancing both culturally and economically. The devaluation of the peso in 1994 threw the Mexican economy into a frenzy, lowering their per capita income to a mere quarter of that of the United States. Through repeated social and economic turmoil, the rich cultures of the original Yucatan civilizations has remained, though somewhat jaded after their emersion from under Spanish rule in the 19th century. It isn t hard to research the rich history of Mexican cuisine. When the Spaniards first landed in Tenochtitlan present-day Mexico City they carefully chronicled every aspect of life there in Mexico, especially the food and cooking techniques of the natives. During their observations, they noticed that the Mexicans had a lot of corn-based foods. This was due to the fact that maize was Mexico s chief crop at the time. A lot of these notes have carefully been preserved in the name of history--not that that is necessary. The Mexican culture has continued to live on through food, if through nothing else at all. Be...

Memory Foam Mattress
A calm and composed night s sleep depends primarily upon the quality of mattress we use in our beds. There are varieties of mattresses available in the market amongst which Memory foam Mattress has proved its superiority. Memory foam mattress is a unique type of mattress that is pressure and temperature sensitive. In 1970s, NASA developed Memory Foam for use in their space program to protect the astronauts. Paradoxically, the material was never used in any space program. In the 1990s, the product was launched in the commercial market in the form of topper pads and then as foam mattresses. A medical company, Tempur-Pedic, first recognized the possible commercial application of the foam. They examined the various versions of the foam and came out with a product that they called Tempur . This Tempur had the property of pressure reduction. When Memory foam first came out in the market, it was known as T-foam. However, this T-foam was not durable enough and thus it gave way to memory foam. Memory Foam is made with a polyurethane material. In order to increase its mass, other chemicals are added which increases its...

Migraine Treatments Don T Live With The Pain
Migraines could be killing. I know of a person who suffered from it right from her childhood days. The misery went into such an extent that the poor child used to rush into the bathroom at the first symptom of attack, lie down prone on the floor and pray to God to take her life as the excruciating pain literary tore her apart. No distraction of the mind could diminish the torment nor provide a relief for the hapless child. It was such a helpless situation. I wanted to offer migraine treatments, just to comfort the child, but had no knowledge of any migraine treatments that could offer relief. I felt frustrated and sad. Things have however improved since then. Migraine treatments introduced about a decade back worked on the principle that reduction or elimination of the pain could be achieved by focusing on the changing of the alpha beta wave patterns of the brain. This worked by warming the hands and rubbing the feet together the idea originally came from the early symptoms of the onset when these extremities suddenly started getting cold. This was among the advanced migraine treatments of the sixties and seventies...
